Comprehensive Child and Family Assessment Workshops

    Training Description:

    This training provides a detailed description of the essential elements of the Comprehensive Child and Family Assessment: an overview of the key parts of the CCFA, the major milestones in the 25-day process, and the specific components that create the final product.


    Main Objectives:

      1. Participants will obtain a complete overview of the purpose of the CCFA and practice completing key sections.
      2. Participants will learn ways to build a bridge between family and professional interest to create a comprehensive family assessment.
      3. Participants will be able to explain how the four processes and OARS skills of Motivational Interviewing (MI) can impact client interviews.
