Suicide Prevention Month Training: Together We Can All Save Lives

Suicide Prevention Month Training

Together We Can All Save Lives

What to Know and How to Help

Three simple steps can often make a difference in someone’s life. Question, Persuade and Refer (QPR) are three lifesaving steps that anyone can use with another individual who may be contemplating suicide.

QPR is a nationally recognized training program that teaches anyone how to use these steps.

During the month of September CHRIS 180’s QPR certified staff will be offering training workshops free to the public thanks to support from a generous donor.

To commemorate  Suicide Prevention Month, the CHRIS Training Institute will offer free sessions to the public and special sessions for specific audiences, including:

  • Teachers
  • Social Service Industry Employees
  • Clergy and Spiritual Care leaders
  • Parents
  • LGBTQ+ Community
  • Workplace Leaders

Please share this information with your colleagues and friends.  Our goal is to train as many people as possible in this simple yet effective way of responding when someone shares with you, they may be thinking about suicide. Remember together we can all save lives by knowing how to respond.
