Community Support
Westside Empowerment Center
In 2019, the Westside Empowerment Center (WEC) opened to extend access to behavioral health services and trauma-informed care to Westside residents. The center provides individual and family therapy for children and adults, couples counseling, and individualized treatment approaches. The goal of WEC is to make counseling and wraparound services more accessible and to equip more families with the tools and resources to cope with challenging and difficult situations.
WEC addresses barriers to social determinants of health and healthcare services by providing support to improve our client’s quality of life. WEC primarily serves residents of Westside Atlanta and Fulton County who reside in in zip codes 30310, 30311, 30312, 30314, 30316 and 30318. CHRIS 180 can refer clients that are not in our service area to other community-based organizations.

At-Promise Community Centers for Youth
CHRIS 180 staff are placed in support roles across the city within three At-Promise Centers, an initiative operated by the Atlanta Police Foundation. We envision a place where youth and young adults are embraced and provided with positive opportunities throughout the city of Atlanta. Atlanta Public Schools
A student who attends an Atlanta Public School can be referred to the At-Promise Center for out-of-school treatment services that are beyond the scope of the school system or the youth can walk-in on his or her own to get services from the center.
