This holiday season, CHRIS 180 will provide support and hope with events across Atlanta for local families and individuals in need. From providing Thanksgiving meals alongside the Atlanta Falcons organization to hosting a festive one-day holiday shopping experience for families, CHRIS 180 is encouraging neighbors across Atlanta to “Be the Reason” families have hope by giving back and spreading holiday cheer.
The celebrations begin on Tuesday, November 18, with Falcons Feast, a beloved Atlanta tradition now in its tenth year. In partnership with the Atlanta Falcons, The Arthur M. Blank Foundation and Publix and CHRIS 180 and Falcons players will distribute turkeys and holiday meal boxes to hundreds of families with a voucher at three metro locations to help ensure hundreds of families can share a warm, nourishing holiday meal together.
The giving continues in December through CHRIS 180’s Annual Holiday event, which will provide gifts and essentials for more than 100 families participating in CHRIS 180’s foster care, adoption, counseling and community-based programs. The event will take place Saturday, December 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at CHRIS 180’s main campus in East Atlanta. Registered parents and caregivers will have the opportunity to personally select gifts for their children in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Through events like the Falcons Feast and our holiday shopping event, we’re creating meaningful moments that bring people together, strengthen community and ensure more families experience the joy of the season.”
The community can get involved in the “Be the Reason” campaign in three meaningful ways:
- Give Financially. Monetary contributions help CHRIS 180 provide vital resources and services to families in need. Gifts of all sizes can be made at CHRIS180.org/donate.
- Donate Gifts. Host a toy drive or shop from CHRIS 180’s Amazon Wish List to help stock the organization’s Annual Holiday event.
- Volunteer Your Time. Volunteers are still needed for the Annual Holiday event to assist families.
“Every contribution – big or small – helps make the season brighter for families across metro Atlanta,” Stone added.
