CHRIS 180 is on a mission to heal children, strengthen families, and build community. For more than four decades, CHRIS 180 has been providing behavioral health and child welfare services to children, youth, and families in Greater Atlanta. We were among the pioneers in adopting the concept of “trauma-informed” care and introduced our renowned training program, Trauma STARs®, in the mid-2000s. As an organization that prioritizes trauma-informed approaches, CHRIS 180 is the leading trauma-informed care provider in Georgia. Our goal is to improve our community by providing children, adults, and families with high-quality, trauma-informed behavioral health services and support systems. CHRIS 180 ensures that all newly hired staff members receive training during their orientation on understanding trauma, identifying its signs, and delivering care and services in a trauma-informed manner.
All courses with accreditation will be clearly marked. Courses that will give CEs may be accredited by: ASWB.
