The CHRIS 180 Substance Use Services Department is committed to delivering comprehensive support through a range of programs designed to prevent substance use disorders, provide effective treatment, and support sustainable recovery. Offering services aligned with the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) levels 0.5 through 2.1, CHRIS 180 provides a spectrum of care suitable for individuals at varying stages of their recovery journey.

Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT)

If you are grappling with addiction—whether it be pain pills, heroin, fentanyl, alcohol, or Kratom—CHRIS 180 offers Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). This holistic approach integrates medications such as Buprenorphine, Naltrexone, and Vivitrol with counseling to address the behavioral and emotional impacts of addiction. Our experienced medical team prescribes FDA-approved medications that aid the brain in healing without inducing a high, effectively eliminating cravings and fostering long-term recovery.

Prescribed Medications:

  • Buprenorphine (Subutex)
  • Buprenorphine/Naloxone (Suboxone)
  • Naltrexone
  • Vivitrol

Counseling:

  • Therapeutic counseling targeting behaviors and emotions related to addiction.
  • Learning healthy strategies to manage triggers, pain, and stress.

The HERO Program

The Helping, Empowering and Restoring Others Program (“The HERO Program”) is designed to support families impacted by substances with a special focus on children affected by a parent or caregiver’s substance use disorder. This family-centered, team-based initiative provides trauma-focused wraparound counseling to build healthy families and resilient communities.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Individuals ages 0 to 26.
  • Harm or impact due to a parent or caregiver’s substance use disorder.

Cost:

  • Free for accepted participants.

The Fulton County Clubhouse for Youth

A haven for teens ages 13-17, The Fulton County Clubhouse provides a space to acquire essential life skills and strategies for a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. Located at 1480 DeLowe Drive, Atlanta, GA 30311, the Clubhouse offers substance abuse prevention education, behavioral health psychoeducation, life skills development, and various group activities for residents of Fulton County through the Fulton Behavioral Health Network.

Additional Services:

  • Sporting events, video games, pool table, and foosball.
  • Homework assistance and customized employment preparation.
  • Youth/peer/family-led group activities, including monthly family dinners.
