Application, Admission and Interview Process
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Institute for Spiritual Health accepts applications throughout the year. We are currently accepting applications for the 2024 Summer Intensive Internship and the 2024-2025 Residency year.
Procedures
- Download and complete the application and submit to CPE@CHRIS180.org. Applications are accepted at any time of the year.
- Applications are reviewed within 30 days of completion, which is usually three to six months before an internship or a residency begins.
- All completed applications will be reviewed to conduct an evaluation of the applicant’s qualifications.
- Qualified applicants will be invited to an admissions interview. Interviews will be scheduled with the appropriate placement site and Institute staff.
- Submission of an application does not guarantee an interview. An interview does not guarantee admission.
All completed applications will be reviewed in order to conduct an evaluation of the applicant’s qualifications. Only qualified applicants will be invited to complete an admissions interview as part of the application process.
CHRIS 180 does not discriminate against any individual in an admissions decision for reasons of race, color, national origin, gender, age, physical disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, citizenship, veteran status or faith group.
Application
Send completed applications to CPE@CHRIS180.org.
When ACPE units are advertised with start and ends dates, the application deadline is two months before the residency begins and one month before an internship unit begins.

Admission Decision
An offer letter will be provided to individuals who are accepted into the program.  Admission decisions are made within 30 days of the admissions interviews.  A completed application is needed before an interview can be scheduled.
The accepted student signs all required documents for the program. No student is allowed to begin orientation and CPE education at any of the programs sites without completing their required documents.
Application Decline
Application deadline is three months before the residency and the internship unit begins.
Individuals who are declined will be notified and all application materials will be shredded within thirty days after the decline letter has been mailed.
In the event of a student dropping out of the program, the search for a replacement may involve use of a list of applicants who applied, were not accepted yet or who agreed to keep their file active and be on a waiting list. If no active list is on file, the ACPE center will seek interested and qualified persons.
