With our core values of Creativity, Honor, Respect, Integrity and Safety in mind, the CHRIS Counseling Center aims to strengthen individuals and families by increasing the ability to manage life stressors and mental health concerns, build coping skills, improve communication, and enhance each client’s ability to function.

In addition, the CHRIS Counseling Center is a trauma-informed practice. This means that we understand the significant impact of trauma on the lives of the people we serve.

CHRIS Counseling Center employs a diverse group of mental health professionals and paraprofessionals, some of whom are in training and have a variety of backgrounds and specialties. As a client of CHRIS Counseling Center, you are eligible to receive a range of therapeutic services.

Our locations are conveniently located in DeKalb, Gwinnett and Fulton counties. Visit our contact us page for location information.

95% of families we worked with said they feel less stressed and that they see improved family functions, year after year.

Our counseling program is designed to help parent and child focus on positive qualities; give parents constructive behavior management skills; to guide them in developing techniques for managing anger and to teach parents how to listen, respect, and respond to their children’s feelings.
