Our CHRIStal Ball drives awareness around the importance of our trauma-informed work, including behavioral health programming to help children, adults and families at home, school, in foster care and the juvenile justice system. As a Georgia taxpayer, you can redirect your taxes to CHRIS 180 to support youth currently in or transitioning out of foster care, thanks to the Qualified Foster Child Donation Credit. When you participate, you receive a 100% tax credit for your state income tax bill for your contribution.

Donate from an IRA

If you are 70 ½ years old or older, your gift may count toward your required minimum distribution for the year in which the check is issued and excluded from your taxable income.

CHRIS 180 is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization eligible for qualified charitable distributions through the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act of 2015. The maximum donation amount from an IRA cannot exceed $100,000 in one year. Contact your IRA plan administrator today to make a gift.
