Our Approach
Trauma-Informed Care
We utilize an evidence-based Trauma-informed Care model because we help our clients heal from trauma and provide the tools and strategies they need to move from surviving to thriving.
How do we define trauma?
Individual trauma results from an event, series of events, or sets of circumstances that are experienced as physically or emotionally harmful or threatening — and that have lasting adverse effects on a person's physical, social, emotional, or spiritual well-being.
What makes CHRIS180 trauma-informed?
We use the evidence-based Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency (ARC) framework to support children, youth, adults, families, and communities. Instead of asking, "what's wrong with you?" we ask, "what happened to you?"
We accept insurance for services.
